EP 113: Enneagram and Productivity: Heart Types (2, 3, 4 ) with Lisa Alessi

Season #3

EP 113: Enneagram and Productivity: Heart Types (2, 3, 4 ) with Lisa Alessi

Please note that this is part 3 of a 4-part series. I recommend listening to Ep 111 to understand Above-the-Line and Below-the-line concepts.

In this episode of The Productivity Shift Podcast, host and productivity coach Elise Enriquez dives deep into the Enneagram and its relationship with productivity. Joined by expert Lisa Alessi, they explore the heart center types: Two, Three, and Four and what it looks like for each type to be above the line and below the line.

Episode Outline:

Heart center types (Two, Three, Four) filter information through emotional and relational intelligence.

Type Two: The Helper

 - Motivated by making connections and being liked.

 - Focuses on meeting others' needs and orchestrating their lives.

 - Above the line, balances own needs with others' needs effectively.

 - Below the line, may become overly focused on others' needs and intrude on boundaries.

Type Three: The Achiever

 - Driven by achieving goals and being successful.

 - Task-oriented and results-driven.

 - Above the line, efficient and effective, balancing work and personal values.

 - Below the line, may neglect communication and burn out from excessive task focus.

Type Four: The Individualist

 - Values uniqueness and deep connection.

 - Highly connected to emotions, may struggle with feeling defective or melancholic.

 - Above the line, compassionate and creative, able to channel emotional energy into productivity.

 - Below the line, may become overly attached to intense emotions and struggle with taking action.

Stay tuned for the next episode where we conclude our Enneagram series and explore more strategies for shifting your productivity mindset. Until then, keep making progress on what matters most to you!
