============================

On October first, one of my buddies posted a picture to FB. It was of a Christmas wreath and tree display outside his grocery store. ON OCTOBER FIRST.

He was like "Gimme a break!"... and I couldn't like his sentiments fast enough. I hadn't even started working on my nieces’ Halloween costumes yet. Don't try to sell me a holiday wreath in October!

So, don't get mad at me, because we haven't passed the stuffing or sliced the pumpkin pie yet...but let's talk about the December holidays.

More specifically, let's explore how simple systems can support you through what can be a crazy time of the year.

I recorded this as a behind-the-scenes episode to give you a little glimpse into the stuff I put in place to make my life a little easier during the holidays. A way to reduce some of the stress.

I gave 3 simple systems that I use to keep my holiday season organized and stress-free, and even added one bonus system;

  • One of the big holiday stressors is overwhelm, so consider making some lists and checking them twice.
  • Money can be another big stressor this time of year, so take some of the surprises out of the spending by creating a holiday budget.
  • Things can get really busy, so get you and your family on the same page by updating your family calendar with all the events you plan to go to.

And one last thing…that bonus…take stock of your gift wrap supplies right now and replenish them immediately.

And that brings us to our question of the week: What is one simple system you could put in place this week to make the holidays a little easier?
